Welcome to our wedding site.
We got engaged on July 2, 2017, during a weekend getaway in Old Lyme, Connecticut. As we shared with many of you, we had inititally thought to have our wedding in the fall of 2018. However, as two late-stage doctoral candidates, we quickly learned that we did not make great wedding planners and decided to postpone the celebration.
Andy finished his PhD in June and we're moving to Cambridge, MA, for new adventures in the fall, so we're having a small civil ceremony in late July on the lakeside dock of our friends' home. It's important to us that we have a chance to celebrate with all of our loved ones, so a bigger wedding will follow in the summer of 2019 with a Jewish ceremony and reception.
We've created this website so that we can keep our friends and family informed about both events, as well as post photos and any other information about our two-part wedding. As some of you have asked, we will add a link to a registry when we get closer to our reception in 2019.
